The Duality.

Before joining Snap’s corporate office, I worked for 11 years as a designer at Snap Norwest, consistently ranked as one of Australia’s top-performing Centres. It was a highly professional office, equipped with the latest technology, and the owner’s passion for small business made that place run like clockwork. But despite being a professional workplace, it also had a unique, lively , almost chaotic atmosphere - kind of like a circus. The staff and owners, while extremely skilled, brought a playful and fun dynamic - like a bunch of clowns. Snap Norwest successfully balanced professionalism with a vibrant and enjoyable work culture.

The Personality.

To portray the dual nature of being fun and professional, I pursued my passion for digital illustration. Each year, I dedicated a good chunk of time to capture the unique characteristics of the ‘clowns’ that work at Snap Norwest. These vibrant illustrations became the highlight of our yearly company Christmas cards and were prominently displayed in the front counter area.

This creative approach added a personal touch to our local area marketing efforts, proving to elevate Snap’s reputation as the ‘place to go’ for creative solutions within the Norwest territory. The illustrations also significantly contributed to Snap Norwest’s recognition among the broader Snap Network as being a lead Centre for creative marketing initiatives.
